Boulder Opal Specimen
Regular price $254.00
Weighing in at 243 carats, this Boulder Opal has glittery teal flash toward the bottom that looks like treasure buried at the bottom of the ocean of Opal. There is a whole story in this stone.
Boulder Opals were first discovered in Quilpe, Australia in the late 1800's and to this day most Boulder Opal comes from Queensland. All of the Boulder Opal available in my shop is from the Broken Rive Mine in QLD. It is formed when the Opal flowed into seems in the Ironstone and that's why it looks likes rivers/oceans in the desert. They are often used to help boost creativity, awakening your awareness of self and actualizing that awareness.
